High-Performance Tennis Training

At RPS ACADEMY, we mentor students through our sports and education programs, working closely with them to ensure their physical, mental, emotional, and social development. Our high-performance tennis coaches use in-depth periodization plans to track and rapidly accelerate students’ performances on the court. With our guidance, athletes reach their performance goals step by step, month to month, and year to year.

We welcome tennis players to enroll as full-time students, weekly boarders, or non-boarders. We offer full-time and weekly programs year-round.

 The Program

Our program consists of two unique training sessions, one in the morning and one in the afternoon. This divided training method allows for students to assimilate instruction more effectively. The morning session includes two hours of stroke production and technique development. The afternoon session includes tactical work with point development and match play. Throughout the week, students complete on-court tennis-specific conditioning drills and off-court conditioning, including weight training three times a week.

Our high-performance program is renowned for producing not only students who are highly educated, but also tennis players who know how to think independently. We provide our athletes with a distinct advantage in the competitive tennis world: They’re faster, stronger, tougher, and smarter on and off the court.

  Building a successful tennis program is incredibly difficult;  maintaining excellent results is even more challenging.

After developing eleven number ones in the past and producing six world top-ten juniors in the last ten years, it is hard to dispute that Gabe Jaramillo has one of the best tennis methodologies of all time.

We help students improve their strokes with innovative tennis training techniques rooted in long-established biomechanics principles.

Sharpened Tactical Skills

As a part of our methodology, coaches train students with frequent drills designed to develop greater game intelligence. Students develop sharper tactical awareness with increased perception, strategic analysis, and quick decision-making.

Live Ball Drills for On-court Finesse

Our live ball drills help students develop their spacing, timing, and balance. With practice, students commit technique to memory with rhythm and fluidity for smooth, controlled strokes and movement across the court.

Each day, students challenge each other to improve and further develop their competitive edge. It’s crucial for our players to be exposed frequently to new and unpredictable situations and competitors.

Physical Conditioning

We use a systematic approach, it involves all the components, such as endurance, strength, power, speed, balance, coordination, agility, flexibility and Nutrition.

Mental Training

We provide students with key skills to maximize performance on a cognitive level including emotional control, concentration, and positive self-talk. Our athletes learn that adjusting their attitude and shaping results into opportunities is key for continued success.

Peak Performance Training

Our systematic approach includes all of the fundamental components for peak performance including endurance, strength, power, speed, balance, coordination, agility, flexibility, and nutrition.
